na rast rakavih celic

Na vsakem od 4 grafov so 3 krivulje
Zgornje krivulje s polnimi krogci prikazujejo kontrolne skupine rakavih celic, ki jim antioksidanti niso bili dodani in je število rakavih celic zelo hitro naraščalo.Srednje krivulje s kvadratki kažejo kako se pomnoževanje rakavih celic upočasni, če se dodajo antioksidanti mangostina v nizkih koncentracijah.
Spodnje krivulje s trikotniki pa kažejo na 3 grafih pomembno upočasnitev in celo ustavitev rasti rakavih celic, če se dodajo v kulturo antioksidanti mangostina že samo v 2x višji koncentraciji.
Zelo močan učinek so imeli α, ß in γ ksantoni, zelo majhen efekt pa so imeli antioksidanti posebne podskupine ß ksantonov.

4 different xanthones (mangosteen antioxidants) on the growth of cancer

Each of the 4 diagrams shows 3 lines
The top lines with full circles show the cancer cell control group, which had no added antioxidants, and exhibit very fast growth of cancer cells.The middle lines with squares show how cancer cell growth is slowed down when mangosteen antioxidants are added in low concentrations.
In 3 of the 4 diagrams, the bottom lines with triangles show a significantly slowed and even stopped growth of cancer cells when a double concentration of mangosteen antioxidant is added to the cell culture.
Xanthones α, ß, and γ had a very strong effect, whereas antioxidants of a special group of ß xanthones had a very weak effect.

Effetto degli xantoni sulla crescita delle cellule tumorali

- Sull’ascisse (linea orizzontale) è indicato il tempo di crescita delle cellule tumorali in ora.
Su ognuno dei 4 grafici sono tracciate 3 curve.
Le curve superiori che collegano i cerchietti pieni indicano i gruppi di cellule tumorali ai quali non sono stati aggiunti gli antiossidanti e il loro numero aumentava rapidamente.Le curve medie che collegano i indicano il rallentamento della moltiplicazione delle cellule tumorali dopo l’aggiunta degli antiossidanti del mangostano a basse concentrazioni.
Le curve inferiori che collegano i triangoli indicano sui 3 grafici un rallentamento importante o addirittura l’arresto della crescita delle cellule tumorali dopo l’aggiunta degli antiossidanti del mangostano già in concentrazioni 2x più alte.
Gli xantoni del mangostano α, β e ϒ hanno provocato un effetto molto forte, mentre l’effetto degli antiossidanti del sottogruppo di xantoni β è stato molto lieve.

4 verschiedener Xanthonen (Mangostin-Antioxidanten) auf das Wachstum der Krebszellen
- Auf der Ordinate (gerade Linie) ist die Anzahl der Krebszellen x 10.000 angezeigt.
- Auf der Abszisse (gerade Linie) ist die Zeit des Wachstums der Krebszellen in Stunden angezeigt.
Auf jedem von 4 Graphen gibt es 3 Kurven
Die oberen Kurven mit vollen kleinen Kreisen zeigen Kontrollgruppen der Krebszellen, denen Antioxidanten nicht zugefügt wurden und die Anzahl der Krebszellen sehr schnell gewachsen ist.Die mittleren Kurven mit Quadraten zeigen, wie die Vermehrung der Krebszellen verlangsamt wird, falls Mangostin-Antioxidanten in niedrigen Konzentrationen zugefügt werden.
Die unteren Kurven mit Dreiecks zeigen auf 3 Graphen wichtige Verlangsamung und sogar die Unterbrechung des Wachstums der Krebszellen, falls in die Kultur Mangostin-Antioxidanten schon in nur 2x höherer Konzentration zugefügt werden.
Sehr starken Effekt hatten α Xanthonen, β und ϒ Xanthonen, einen sehr kleinen Effekt hatten dagegen Antioxidanten von der Sondergruppe der β Xanthonen.

Učinak 4 različita ksantona (antioksidansa mangostina) na rast stanica karcinoma
- Na ordinati (okomita crta) prikazan je broj stanica karcinoma x 10.000.
- Na apscisi (vodoravna crta) je prikazano vrijeme rasta stanica karcinoma u satima.
Na svakom 4 grafikona su 3 krivulje.
Gornje krivulje s punim krugovima pokazuju kontrolnu skupinu stanica karcinoma, kojima antioksidansi nisu bili dodani, a broj stanica raka ubrzano se povećavao.Srednje krivulje s kvadratićima pokazuju kako se razmnožavanje stanica karcinoma usporava, ako se dodaju antioksidansi mangostina u niskim koncentracijama.
Donje krivulje s trokutima pokazuju na 3 grafikona značajno usporenje pa čak i zaustavljanje rasta stanica karcinoma, kada se u kulturu dodaju antioksidansi mangostina u 2x većoj koncentraciji
Vrlo snažan učinak imali su α ksantoni, β i ϒ ksantoni, a vrlo mali učinak imali su antioksidanti posebne skupine β ksantona.
